COMING IN MAY: Indiana Teen Author Mike Mullins will be visiting on Tuesday, May 20, 6:30pm.
Mike is the author of the ASHFALL trilogy.
His talk will be "How Taekwondo is like Writing." There will be books available and he will be around to autograph a personal copy or one that has been purchased.

The Library has partnered with JUNIOR LIBRARY GUILD BOOK COMPANY to continue the Library's ability to provide good quality children's books and promote reading literacy. We now have a link where online donations towards children's book may be made for us to purchase from the Jr. Guild or donations may be mailed directly to the Library.

THE LIBRARY IS LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS RESIDING IN FAIRMOUNT TOWNSHIP TO SERVE AS A LIBRARY BOARD TRUSTEE. YOU MUST HAVE LIVED IN THE TOWNSHIP FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS TO BE ELIGIBLE.
A FOUR-YEAR TERM, THE BOARD MEETS THE SECOND WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH, 6pm AT THE LIBRARY. PLEASE CONTACT LINDA FOR MORE INFORMATION. NAMES ARE BEING TAKEN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

NEW COMPUTER FILTERING PROGRAM ALLOWS SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES
Due to this, access to any Social Networking site by juvenile patrons, ages 14-17, will require a parent/guardian permission slip.
No one under the age of 14 will be allowed on any Social Networking websites.
INTERESTED IN LEARNING HOW TO KNIT?
Beginners and advanced meet every Wednesday at 7pm. Class is usually held in the new library, except the 2nd Wednesday of the month when it meets in the Library Annex or at Knit 'n Purl (Sheila Spaulding).
