THE LIBRARY IS LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS RESIDING IN FAIRMOUNT TOWNSHIP TO SERVE AS A LIBRARY BOARD TRUSTEE. YOU MUST HAVE LIVED IN THE TOWNSHIP FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS TO BE ELIGIBLE.
A FOUR-YEAR TERM, THE BOARD MEETS THE SECOND WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH, 6pm AT THE LIBRARY. PLEASE CONTACT LINDA FOR MORE INFORMATION. NAMES ARE BEING TAKEN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

COPY FEES
All 8 1/2 x 11 copies are .15c. All legal size, 8 1/2 x 14 are .20c. This fee is charged for all copies; computer copies, fax copies, and microfilm copies in black/white.
Color computer copies will be $1.15.
WEDNESDAYS- 10:30-11:30am: Basic computer class
The Computer lab will be closed to the public during this time.
NEW COMPUTER FILTERING PROGRAM ALLOWS SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES
Due to this, access to any Social Networking site by juvenile patrons, ages 14-17, will require a parent/guardian permission slip.
No one under the age of 14 will be allowed on any Social Networking websites.
Beginners and advanced meet every Wednesday at 7pm. Class is usually held in the new library, except the 2nd Wednesday of the month when it meets in the Library Annex or at Knit 'n Purl (Sheila Spaulding).

0ctober, 2012: Due to a funding shortage the Imagination Library program has been suspended. It is hoped that it will come back, but it may have to be restructured another way.
Fairmount Public Library is a member of the Grant County Imagination Library Coalition.
We promote literacy by offering the "Dolly Parton Imagination Library program." Parents and grandparents may sign-up their son/daughter, ages birth-4 1/2 to receive a free book a month mailed directly to the home.
